Martha Washington

My condolences to the Washington family. Martha was one of the best principals at Bragaw Avenue School, who took pride in her job and had a fond care and concern for the students. Bragaw Avenue School was never the same after she left. S.I.P. Gone but will never be forgotten.

Martha a close friend of my mother June Lockett. She baked a cake for her birthday just 3 months ago. I can still see the joy and happiness on Martha's face as she brought the cake to my mother. My mother was really going to miss Martha. She was so fond of Martha. Two days before Martha passed the "book club" met and took one last picture. Martha was right in the middle of the picture. She was so happy to be with her friends.

Dear Martha & Family.

We shared so many laughs during our long friendship. I shall miss you along with your wit and humor. As colleagues we could be so serious in trying to advance the education of the students in our charge. Rest in peace as I am so glad we shared these magic moments. Family members please accept my sincere condolences.
