Mrs. DeVeaux was like an aunt to me. She and my mother were good friends, and they both taught at Fennell Elementary School. It was also a pleasure to visit her home, where she and her husband would spoil us. Mrs. DeVeaux and the other teachers at Fennell were like our mothers; they loved and nurtured us while at school. I will always remember her kindness and the beautiful clothes that she wore. Rest in peace, my sweet angel, and say hi to my mom.
I'm going to miss π you Mrs.DeVeaux.Thank you for all you have done for me.All my Life.
The life of this exceptional woman will always be remembered by many she touched in the community Yemassee SC. God has truly blessed you Ms Deveaux, I was a young girl just starting elementary school when I met and fell in love with this extraordinary teacher. Your love and kindness will always be with me. May all of those whose heart is hurting, know that she knew the Lord. Matthew 5:4: "Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted" ππΏππΏβ€οΈ
Mrs. DeVeaux was my kindergarten teacher. She and Ms. Francis, later Mrs. Shaw, were my first introduction to school. I probably drove them crazy with all my crying, but that didn't stop them from giving me a great foundation for learning. And now I am a teacher for children with special needs.
Thanks, Mrs. DeVeaux
Condolences to the ones she raised, taught, cared for and loved

Mrs. Debut has mothered and grandmothered generations of students (and staff) in Hampton County schools. I was privileged to have her as a Cub Scout den mother at Fennell Elementary and talk with her in my young adulthood. She was generous with wisdom and radiated love. Rest well, Mother DeVeaux, ππΎπ
