Obituary For George Jermaine Rutledge

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of the George Jermaine Rutledge of Minneapolis, Minnesota on Thursday, June 27, 2024, at his residence. A native of the Jenkins community (Big Estate) of Beaufort Co., SC, he was the son of the late George Rutledge, Sr. and the late Shirley Young Rutledge, and the father of Ms. Nahla Sky Rutledge. An American Indian his affiliations were with the Yamassee Indian Tribe. He was a mental health advocate. George was a loving father, brother, nephew, kind-hearted loved one and friend. His treasured memories shall always be a beacon light.

Visitation: Friday, July 5, 2024, 3-6 pm in the Chapel of Young Funeral Home, Yemassee, SC.

Funeral services: Saturday, July 6, 2024, 4:00 pm in the Chapel of Young Funeral Home. Burial to follow in the Jenkins Cemetery, (Big Estate) of Beaufort Co., SC.
