With humbled hearts, we announce the passing of our own, Deacon Nathan Richards, 85, of the Roadside Community of Yemassee, SC. Affectionately, known as “Sabie”, Deacon Richards, was the beloved husband of Pearl Richards. He.was a father, grandfather, brother, and much more. Loved and cherished by many, the many memories of his life, will forever serve as a beacon of hope and light, to all those who now mourn his passing. He was a.deacon of the Mt. Nebo Baptist Church, Yemasse, SC where he served faithfully for many years. He was a member of the Prince Hall Order of Masons, Douglas Lodge #277. He retired from the Construction Industry. Deacon Richards was a longtime employee of the Young Funeral Home.
Visitation: Friday, March 28, 2025, 5-7pm in the Chapel of Young Funeral Home, Yemassee, SC.
Homegoing Celebration: Saturday, March 29, 2025 11:00 am in the Mt. Nebo Baptist Church, Yemassee, SC.
