Words of thanks seem so inadequate for all the kindness that has been bestowed upon our family. We thank you for the encouraging visits, the comforting calls, the lovely cards, the beautiful floral arrangements, and the sincere words of solace. We are finding strength in knowing earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot heal. May God bless you richly for blessing us! ~The Kurns Family~

I can remember a lot of times coming to Durant and they had the grocery store that had the liquid kool-aid. Aunt Virna Mae always mad us feel at home at her house. when anyone in my father's family passed we were there at my aunts, and i saw first hand somebody cooking dinner at 5:30 in the morning (yikes)and from there to Mt Calvary.. it seems I only have good memories connected. I want to thank my family for sharing such a beautiful soul and extend my condolences to you as well. know that the love abounds from us to you.
Hugs of love and wisdom to my beloved family, as we celebrate the homegoing of Aunt VirnaMae.
During a visit, GrandMomma Dora told her to be sure to feed her "girls".
Aunt VirnaMae was like, Dora not going to be telling me what to do...and in the same breath said, "What ya'll wanna eat". Too funny.
A heart of gold.
We thank God for her and appreciate the fact that now we know the name of another angel.
With Love, Yolanda - one of the "girls" (Ike's daughter)
