Laura Sue “Ann” Ellis Nash was born March 7, 1938, to the late J.T. Ellis and Hattie Zollicoffer Ellis in Thomastown, Mississippi. She was the sixth of eight children.
A Time To Learn:
Laura Sue "Ann" Ellis Nash attended Conway Vocational High School in Carthage, MS. She graduated with the Class of 1959.
A Time To Rejoice:
Laura Sue “Ann” Ellis Nash was united in Holy Matrimony to William (Mann) Nash in 1976.
A Time To Serve:
Laura Sue “Ann” Ellis Nash confessed Christ at an early age and joined Pleasant Grove #1 Missionary Baptist Church. She remained a faithful member until her health failed.
A Time To Mourn:
Laura Sue “Ann” Ellis Nash is preceded in death by her parents, J.T. and Hattie Zollicoffer Ellis, one sister, Earnestine, five brothers, Cage, L.J. Sr., Leonard, G.W., James, and her beloved husband, William (Mann) Nash.
Those left to cherish her memories are: Son, Pat Ellis; Sister, Yvonne Ellis; two sisters-in-law, Mary Lee Ellis and Lola Ellis; two adopted sisters, Annie King and Jean Hall; God-daughter, Dorothy “BayBay” Mallett, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors, her best friend and classmate Frances McAdory.
She will always be remembered in the lives she touched.
