Obituary For Jeremy Whitcomb

Jeremy Bernard Whitcomb was born on February 25, 1988, to Benita Winters Whitcomb and Jerry B. Whitcomb at Beaufort Naval Hospital, in Beaufort, South Carolina.

At an early age he united and was baptized at Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church, under the leadership of Rev. Columbus Barron. He was an active and faithful member. He served as a Junior Steward, Acolyte, and also a Junior Choir Member, until his departure from this life on June 15, 2002, in Leake County, Mississippi.

He was always a very well mannered and considerate person. It was always "Yes Ma'am", "Yes Sir", or "No Sir". He used these words daily. To his mother, as well as other family members, it was always "Thank you, I appreciate it too", and "Bye, be careful, and I love you too."

His hobbies were talking on the phone, playing basketball, and taking care of his sister.

He leaves to cherish and celebrate his life these loved ones: his loving mother, Benita Whitcomb; his father, Jerry Whitcomb; one sister, Courtney Fuller (all of Kosciusko, MS); two brothers, Marty Gaston (Kosciusko, MS) and Jerry Winters (Indianapolis, IN); maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Homer Winters; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. David Whitcomb and Mrs. Alzena Whitcomb; great grandparents, Mrs. L. G. Riley and Mrs. Ida Lou Whitcomb (all of Kosciusko, MS); three aunts, Regina (Kennedy) Guyton (Kosciusko, MS), Sharon (Derek) Davis (Chicago, IL), and Melissa (Stanley) Roby (Goodman, MS); six uncles, Ron (Joycelyn) Winters, Julian Winters, Jeffery Whitcomb, Randy Brown (all of Kosciusko, MS), Tyrone Meritt (Phoenix, AZ), and Michael (Barbara) Whitcomb (Ingle, TX); and his extended family, step dad, Corey Fuller, Juanita Bell (Big Mama), Diane Micou (Mama D), Ralph Micou, and little Claude Fuller. He also leaves other great aunts and uncles, cousins, and friends.
