Obituary For Fred David Guyton

Mr. Fred David Guyton was born on February 22, 1943 to the late Frank Guyton and Lula Sample Guyton in Attala County, Mississippi.

He was united in holy matrimony to Ora Lee Ellington Guyton on August 29, 1961. To this union eight loving children were born.

He received his education in the Attala County School System. At an early age he accepted Christ and later joined St. John M.B. Church where he was a deacon and faithful member until death.

Fred was a hard worker. He worked at Superior Coach for many years, he then became an entrepreneur and retired as a Pulp Wood Laborer. Fred loved to sing praises to our Lord and Savior and could pray like no other. One thing for sure he had his House in Order with the Lord.

Fred was called home on Friday, January 15, 2021 peacefully at Baptist Hospital in Jackson, MS. Proceeding him in death his wife, Ora Lee Ellington Guyton, his parents Frank and Lula Guyton, brothers, Fleming Guyton, and Frank Joe Guyton, sisters, Inez Anderson, Mary Little, and Athel Guyton Griffin.

He leaves to cherish his memories ten children: Charles (Pearline) Guyton, Jeanette (Perry) McDonald, Kosciusko, MS; Jerry Guyton, (Annie Stingley), Memphis, TN; Jeanelle (Gary) Kern, Tracy (Johnna) Guyton, Kosciusko, MS; Teresa Guyton, Atlanta, GA; Michael (Kimberly) Guyton, Memphis, TN; Marcus (Marquitta) Guyton, Durant, MS; Dewarren Foster, Goodman, MS; Mary Wise, Sallis, MS; 18 grandchildren: Cedric, Kadedra, Shanika, Kendrick, Spencer, Brittany, Theara, Suave, Micaela, Kierra, Jared, Kortney, Arshanti, Andreaus, Makiya, Marcus, Jr., Mason, Quintina, and Tanyra, 7great grandchildren, Anijah, Christone, Demarion, Ce'Maya, Kenderarun, Si'ya (Lil Doll), and Cinnom Guyton; one sister, Dorothy Sandifer, Kosciusko, MS; one brother, Simon (Alean) Guyton, Milwaukee, WI; one sister-in-law, Bernice (Tommy) Luckett, Kosciusko, MS and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
