On the early morning of January 20, 2024, at the age of 49, Douglas was called home.
Douglas was born on October 14, 1974 and the 2nd child born to Myron & Thelma Truss. He joined Delydia Hill MB Church at an early age. He loved the Lord.
He received his education at Thomastown Attendance Center. He worked various jobs in this life and owned Truss Mobile Detailing and Pressure Washing. He loved to hunt and take care of his dogs.
He leaves to cherish his memories his parents, Myron and Thelma Truss of Carthage, MS. One son, Charleston Savon Truss of Carthage, MS. Four brothers, Myron (Amy) Truss of Sarasota, FL, Tony (Pam) Truss and Jermaine (Linda) Truss of Carthage, MS. One sister, Kamesha (Jason) Davis of Canton, MS. Five Uncles, Earmon Reed, Willie Griffin, Dennis McGary, Lawrence McGary and Roosevelt Truss. Five Aunts, Faye Haynes, Ora (Russell) Joiner, Lenette McGary, Margaret McGary and Brenda Truss. He leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
He also leaves a special friend Kimberly Merritt and a special god-daughter Lundyn Alston. Douglas was by many friends.
