Dekerria Meshae “Dibba” Stribling, born on April 26, 2007, to Tremesha Wingard and Derrick Stribling in Kosciusko, MS.
She attended Kosciusko High School and was expected to graduate in May 2025. She had aspirations to work at Attala Baptist Hospital after her graduation.
To know Dekerria was to love Dekerria. She was full of love and light. She loved helping others and taking care of her babies - Big Head, Winter, Luke, and Cooper, the dog she got for Christmas. She also enjoyed coloring, talking to friends and family, dancing, and creating TikToks.
On Friday, February 28, 2025, Dekerria departed her earthly home and went on to join her family who preceded her in death: her grandparents, Luther & Vernestine Wingard, her great grandfather, Felton Stribling.
Those left to cherish her memories: her mother, Tremesha Wingard; her father, Derrick (Tissy) Stribling; her grandmother, Teresa Hull; her great grandmother, JoAnn Stribling; three sisters: Jamiere Brown, Ilicia Hall, Deriya Stribling; two brothers: Jayceon Stribling, Derrick (Tearshawn) Stribling; two fur babies, Assane & Cooper, a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, classmates, teachers, other relatives and friends.

We, the Wingard/Stribling family, are forever grateful for the love and support shown to us during this difficult time. Your prayers, messages, and acts of kindness have touched our hearts deeply. Through this collective embrace, we have found strength and comfort in knowing that we are not alone in our grief. Our memories we shared and find solace in the love that binds us all. With heartfelt appreciation, The Wingard/Stribling Family.
I'm so sorry about Dekerria. I found a scripture on JW.org that I like to share, Acts 24:15, "there is going to be a resurrection," I wish your family the very best for the future.
Our staff will continue to keep your family in our prayers. We thank you for allowing us to serve your family.
