Anthony Knight, affectionately known as TK, lived a life full of love, devotion, and faith. He was born on June 21, 1963 in Rock Island, Illinois to the late Roosevelt and Alice Knight, both of whom preceded him in death.
He graduated from Rock Island High School and Brown Community College. He was blessed to marry the love of his life, Jacqueline W. Knight, on April 8, 2006. Together they built a beautiful life and to this union one daughter was born and a family, including seven children, was blended.
Anthony loved the Lord and accepted Christ in 2017. He was a devoted and dedicated member of the Greater New Jericho Missionary Baptist Church, where he humbly served in many ministries, including teaching Sunday School. Anthony was ordained as a deacon in March 2020.
Anthony worked as a plumber at Ivey's Mechanical, and enjoyed spending his free time with his family, watching movies and participating in home Bible studies. He was a loyal fan of the Chicago Bears and Chicago Bulls. His favorite saying was "Stay stirred in the Word."
He was preceded in death by his sister, Sonja Knight and will be deeply missed by all who knew him but will be remembered for his kind and caring nature, his unwavering faith and his infectious sense of humor.
Anthony is survived by his wife, Jacqueline; his children: Allison Knight, Tonishea Mack, Dankita Whitt, Joy Holmquist, Anthony Knight Jr., Jazmine Mack and Darious Thomas; his godchildren: Jaquan Williams, Hunter, and Chase Kennedy; his siblings: Debra Johnson, Roosevelt Knight Jr., Phillip Knight (Monica Glenn): brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, and a large extended family of nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and cousins.
Anthony was a loving husband, father and friend and leaves a legacy that will live on through his family and the many lives he touched.
