Takeya was a sweet spirit person. I met her over 3 years ago at an appointment and we talked so much about life, family, and laughed more than ever. I was blessed by her power even when she was tired. I tried to encourage her but she did more of the encouraging. God please look over her family and cover them to come closer together like she would want them too. Tamara
May God bless this family. Takeya made my son"s time away from home so much easier. DeVaughn sent her flowers while she was alive because she showed her beauty inside and out. May her memories allow you to smile and may God allow you to turn all pain into memories. Christa Roseboro and Devaughn Hall .
Takeya was a nice person she always was laughing and smiling when I seen her in school. Takeya an I had class together in middle school. She always knew how to make you laugh. I remember when we tried out for the step team and I was so frustrated with trying to get the step right. Takeya pulled me to the side and encourage me and showed me how to do the step. She had a big heart and will truly be missed by may. To the mccowan family my prayers goes out to you all. May God continue to strengthen you all through this time of sorrow
Takeya and Jasmin I will never forget how cute you girls were at Jordan's sleep over in 1999. You guys were so scared of Cleo our black cat, y'all were jumping on my back! My girls and I will hold you and your family safe in our hearts until we see you again. Love Always, Maw Pleasants (Vogel) as you always called me!
May God be with you and your family at this time, and I pray that God brings you comfort in the days to come, that will allow you to turn your pain into memories of the times you spent with Takeya that will somehow bring you joy. I will continue to keep you all in our prayers Shanice
