As a child I remember going with my grand mother (Essie Wright to visit relatives in Elizabeth, N.J. or Richmond, Va..as a young child 8 or 9..I always loved to visit the cousin everyone called Sis..I was a young adult before learning ..her first name was Mary not..Siss Cousin Gwen you are blessed to have had her as your Mom!! Much love Cousin Lynda Gray..Oldest child of Bernice (Burison/ Wright)
Family,
I pray that God will give you strength during this difficult time. Lean on the Lord and know that “joy will come in the morning.”
Love,
Your Cousin, Karen Gordon-Scott and Family
Mrs. Robinson will truly be missed. I loved her like a mother. Gwen, Freddie and family, I always made sure that I stopped by to visit with her whenever I was in Richmond. We had such great talks and laughter...and a slice of her homemade cake made the visit even sweeter. When she moved to Denver, I made sure to keep in touch...especially on her birthday. With much love, Marsha Anderson Taylor, Baltimore, Maryland
In memories of Mother Mary Robinson:
She was a shining star among our family over forty years. A shining star has gone home. She was a friend to everyone. Always had a light in the window for all friends and family. She was very special to me; more than a mother and one of my very best friends in life. I grew up with the family, Gwen and Freddie from the ages of 16 years old until now. With all love go forth and do well at home with The Father. I know you will. Kiss dad for me.
With loving memories,
Rudy Macklin
