This one breaks my heart..you spend the most time at work and your coworkers become family. Denise was my cousin who I will go to her desk to get my mental health break. We would joke and laugh along with my other "cousins" who made another day enjoyable. Me and Denise would talk about her granddaughter...who I will always ask about to see how things were going. Denise would spin a tail about her I would just laugh and tell her she will be okay and she's going thru growing pains...Denise will give me that look...I just crack up laughing. I am still in awe...I am going to miss our daily run ins outside...with her telling me you better stop yelling my name across the place...lol. Nicole Epps

Denise and I worked on the same team at dss. Everyday we would give a "little hug", talk about what silly socks we were wearing and my plan to take her purple camo jacket that her daughter got her. The smell of popcorn and Downey fabric softener will always bring memories of my friend Denise. <3
During the times we talked as i picked my wife up from work over the years you became family to us this is why saying farewell is so hard but God's plan is so much bigger than our want's and need could ever imagine so i know glory has a place for you then this world could ever offer you.rise high to glory my sister and one of these days to come ill see you again on the other side

My daughter Courtney and Kennecia went to private school together and I got to know Neicy during that time. We've lost touch since the girls have moved on to adult life but I was stunned when I heard about her transition. Prayers and condolences to her family. She was always a steady presence in their lives! Gone too soon! Angela Jefferson
