MRS. VIRGINIA JO DALLAS WHEELER - AGE 81- Of LaFayette, Georgia passed away on Wednesday May 19, 2021. She was born on October 1, 1939 to the late Pauline Dallas Stamper and Henry Stamper. She was preceded by her husband, Robert James Wheeler, Jr., two daughters, Sandra Underwood, Gail A. Wheeler, son, James Alvin Browning, and one granddaughter, Pauline Wheeler. Mrs. Virginia Wheeler was a member of Prospect Baptist Church.
Survivors are her two loving daughters, Martha Wheeler, Rachel Wheeler; son, Angelo (Emily) Wheeler; seventeen grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren; one sister, Thelma Dallas; a devoted and special cousin, Helen Powell; sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Graveside Service and Interment will be on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at 1:30 P. M. at the Chattanooga National Cemetery with Pastor Scott Copeland officiating. The family will have a Walk Through Viewing at Cove Road Church of God, 620 North Chattanooga Street, LaFayette, GA on Tuesday from 6:30 – 7:30 P. M. Arrangements by Willis Funeral Home, Inc., Dalton, Georgia.
