MR. TOMMIE WILL HARDSON – Age 77, of Dalton, GA passed away Thursday, February 27, 2025. He was born May 7, 1947 to his late parents, Willie B., Sr. and Mattie Lois Allen Hardson in Morris, GA. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Willie B. Hardson, Jr. and James Albert “Bay” Hardson; twin sisters, Lillie Mae Hardson and Ethel Mae Hardson. He served in the United States Army 82nd Airbourne. He was a decorated soldier in the Vietnam War from 1965 – 1966 and was Honorably Discharged. He was employed as a Truck Driver for many years. His hobbies included flying private twin engine air crafts and accounting. He was a faithful Deacon of Mt. Peria Baptist Church and a member of the Mt. Peria Male Chorus.
Survivors are his wife of fifty-three years, Mae Frances Moss Hardson; son, Tregg C. Hardson of Rocky Face, GA; sisters, Minister Isabell Hall of Pelham, Georgia and Mary Hardson Bonds of Nashville, Tennessee; sisters-in-law, Linda Porter, Sibyl (Tracy) Washington, Brenda Moss, Sarah Hardson, Patricia Hardson; and grandchildren, DeVon Hardson, Drake Hardson and Melia Hardson all of Dalton, GA; nieces and nephews, Valerie Bonds Mitchell, James Bonds, Chadrick Hall, Kennard Hall, Reginald Hardson, Shawn (Danielle) Washington, Shauna (Jonathan) Aquirre, Tracy Walker, Jessica Moss, Alexander Moss, Theophilus Porter, Amanda (Derek) LaBar; great nieces and nephews; cousins, other relatives, friends, and his church family.
Homegoing Celebration will be Saturday, March 8, 2025 at 12:00 noon at Mt. Peria Baptist Church, 341 Sparks St, Ringgold, GA 30736, with Pastor Edward Ellis, Eulogist. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the church on Saturday. His remains will lie in state on Friday at the funeral home after 12:00 Noon. Interment, Hopewell Cemetery, Airport RD, Dalton, GA. Arrangements entrusted to Willis Funeral Home, Inc.
