MRS. SUSAN ROCHELLE MACON PENDER – AGE 68, of Dalton, Georgia passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2024. She was the daughter of the late Pharris Moore, Sr. and Janie Sue Macon Moore. She was preceded by her husband, Louie Pender, Jr., sister, Laura Macon Love, and grandmother, Lillie Mae Wills. Susan was a member of Community Fellowship church and was retired from Shaw Industries for over thirty-five years.
Survivors are her loving daughter, Valerie (Kelly, Sr.) Pender Storey; granddaughter, Ciera (Cliff) Phillips; two great grandchildren, Cohen and Olivia Phillips; sisters, Virginia Young, Marlene (David) Webster; brothers, Frank Hart, Jr., Pharris Moore, Jr.; brothers-in-law, Richard Love, J. C. Ramsey, Ronald (Wanda) Pender, Fredrick Sims, and Sandy (Delores) Harris; sister-in-law, Gwendolyn Allen; two aunts, Shirley Jones, Betty Macon; nieces, nephews; special cousin, Iva Lee Macon, other loving cousins, relatives, friends, and church family.
Homegoing Celebration will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2024 at 1:00 P. M. at Community Fellowship Church, 409 North Fredrick Street, Dalton, Georgia 30721, with Pastor David Thomas and other Ministers officiating. Her remains will lie in state at the funeral home on Friday after 12:00 noon. Friday evening the family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 – 7:00 P. M. Her remains will lie in state at the church on Saturday one hour before the service. Interment, West Hill Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Willis Funeral Home, Inc., Dalton, Georgia.
