Obituary For Sheron Stamper

MS. SHERON STAMPER - Age 72, of LaFayette, Georgia passed away Thursday, August 10, 2023. Ms. Stamper was born on September 23, 1950 to her late parents, William Howard and Clara Elizabeth Burse Stamper. She was preceded by her three brothers, Larry, Emmanuel, and Allen Stamper.

Survivors are her two sisters, Maudell Wheeler, Mary Sue Stamper, of LaFayette, Georgia; brother, Daniel (Lynn) Stamper of Chattanooga, Tennessee; aunt, Bertha Kathleen Burse of Rossville, GA; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Homegoing Service will be held on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at 12:00 noon at the Willis Funeral Home Chapel, 2011 Martin L. King, Jr. Blvd., Dalton, Georgia 30721 with Rev. William Tramble, Rev. Jerry Burse, and other Ministers officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour before the service. Interment, LaFayette City Cemetery. Arrangements by Willis Funeral Home, Inc., Dalton, Georgia.

I worked with Sheron at Roper. She was the first person there to show me kindness. When others snub me she became a friend who just showed love. She would get me laughing so hard at times my sides would hurt. I loved her. She was always smiling and laughing. There's a special place for you in Heaven Sheron. I will always love and miss you too we meet again. And I know you will greet me like you always did with a smile and that booming laughter and a hug. Rest in peace my dear friend.

Sharon was a good friend and cousin. My fondest memory of her was; during our time at Hill High School she would give me twenty-five cents every single to buy my lunch.
