This is a sad surprise for me. I'm not family,I only got to know Maurice by chance. He just popped into my head today,as I serch his name just curious to see how he was doing. I just learned of his passing. We were friends only for near 2 yrs. Just want to pay my respects, and say Maurice was a big man with a kind heart. He could write better than anyone, and his singing was amazing. We spoke a few times years ago, he did write me once. And sent me a short letter with a picture of him. He standing by a car with a powder blue UNC jersey and shorts I think. I would return it to family if you would want it. I'm in Cartersville,Ga. 678)760-8646 anytime if you want it, I think Maurice loved that picture, but he sent it anyway. R.I.P. Maurice (Big Mo).
