MRS. MARY RUTH McMICHAEL ROBERTS - Age 77, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Monday 7, 2022. She was born June 9, 1944 in Cohutta, Georgia. She was a member of Miracle Valley Church of God In Christ in Dalton. She retired from Brown Printing as an assembly line worker. She enjoyed fishing, crossword puzzles, watching western movies, and playing Pacman. She is preceded by her husband of 26 years, Chester Roberts; father, Charlie Chapman; mother, Ella Ruth McMichael; sister, Darlene Broome; brother, Alvin McMichael; nieces, Sinney McMichael and Fredricka “Fredda” McMichael; son-in-law, Choyce Binns.

She is survived by her loving children, Debra Binns, Clarence (Perron) Roberts, Michael Roberts, and Anthoni D. McDaniel; step daughter, Frances Daughty; step son; Robert Daughty; grandchildren, Paris McDaniel, Allen McDaniel, and Anthony (Melody) McDaniel; step grandchildren, Chris Daughty, Kennedy Daughty, Henry Daughty; 16 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; sisters, Wilma Bonds and Shelia Wofford; brothers, Calvin (Yicelita) McMichael, Larry (Patricia) McMichael, John McMichael; uncle, Jack Barrett; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and friends.

Homegoing Service will be Saturday, March 12, 2022 at 2:30 P. M. at Willis Funeral Home Chapel with Bishop Claud Jones, Eulogist. Her remains will lie in state on Friday after 11:00 A. M. at the funeral until the funeral hour. Interment; Mt. Olive Cemetery, Cohutta, Georgia. Arrangement by Willis Funeral Home, Inc., Dalton, Georgia.
