MRS. MARY EMMA SUTTLE HINTON - Age 80, of Lafayette, GA, born September 14, 1939, earned her wings on January 5, 2020. She was a member of Happy Home Baptist Church and a Head Start teacher for Walker County for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray B. Hinton, and her parents, Joseph Perry, Jr. and Elzora Young Suttle, all of LaFayette, GA, sister, Karen Suttle of LaFayette, GA, brothers, Joseph Perry Suttle III of Tuscaloosa, AL, James Suttle of Birmingham, AL, Lewis Suttle, Chester Suttle, Alvin Suttle, Edwin Suttle, and Danny Sutttle all of LaFayette, GA.

She is survived by her children, Kimberly Hinton of Chattanooga, TN, Anthony Hinton of Knoxville, TN, and Madison (fiancé Jackson Watkins) Hinton of LaFayette, GA; granddaughter Kirsten Weaver of Cohutta, GA; sister, Mrs. Charlotte White of LaFayette; brother, Gary (Patricia) Suttle of Ringgold, GA; aunt, Linda Young of Atlanta, GA; sister-in-laws, Mary Suttle of LaFayette, GA and Marion Suttle of Birmingham, AL; 7 additional grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral Service will be held Friday, January 10, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. at Happy Home Baptist Church, 704 N. Chattanooga St., LaFayette, GA 30728 with Rev. Michael Montgomery, Eulogist and Rev. Terrance Hambrick, Officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday, January 9, 2020 at the funeral home from 6:00 – 7:30 P.M. and one hour before the service at the church. Interment: LaFayette City Cemetery. Arrangements by Willis Funeral Home, Inc., Dalton, GA.
