MRS. JOYCE ELAINE DANIEL HILL - Age 66, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Friday, December 24, 2021. She was born on November 27, 1955 to the late Earnest L. Daniel, Annie Bell Mitchell Moore, and Samuel C. Moore. She was preceded by her sister, Brenda Teasley, niece, Nequila K. Arnold, grandparents, John H. Mitchell and Annie Lou Mitchell, Earnest Daniel, Johnetta Daniel, and brother-in-law, Kendall Storey, Sr. Joyce was a dedicated member of Community Fellowship Church of Ministries, a former member of Bethel A. M. E. Church, and was a graduate of Dalton High School Class of 1973.

Survivors are her loving and devoted husband, Calvin Hill; daughter, Angel (Jason) Smith; stepson, Neil Taylor; stepdaughter, Marketta Taylor; one grandchild, James Durham; sisters, Minister Wanda Storey, Marie Moore, Shirley Flemings; brothers, Terry (Ida) Daniel, Benjamin (Jeanette) Daniel, Abdullah Muhammad, Prince Clark, and Billy Daniel; aunts, Christine Lane, Dorothy Bolton, Florence D. Bolton, Pauline Daniel, Mary Daniel, Willie Bea Mitchell, Jennie Mitchell, Daisey Zachery; uncles, Earlie Mitchell, John Mitchell, Horace Daniel, Adolphus Daniel, Sr., Charlie Daniel; sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, Carolyn Grayson, Marvin Hill, Minister Marilyn Calhoun, Mark Hill, Brenda (Jeff) Edwards, Kevin Hill, Dennis (Marie) Hill, Rodney Hill, Lisa Hill, Lee Anthony Teasley; nieces, nephews, special cousin, Susan Macon Pender; other cousins, relatives, and friends.

Homegoing Celebration Service will be on Sunday, January 2, 2022 at 1:00 P. M. at Community Fellowship Church of Ministries, 409 Fredrick Street, Dalton, Georgia 30721 with Pastor David Thomas as Eulogist and other Ministers officiating. Her remains will lie in state at the funeral home on Saturday from 12:00 noon until the funeral hour. Interment, West Hill Cemetery. Arrangements by Willis Funeral Home, Inc., Dalton, Georgia.
