MR. JAMES ZELL NARED, JR. – AGE 77, - Of LaFayette, Georgia passed away on Saturday, February 13, 2016 in Chattanooga, Tennessee. He was born in Xenia, Ohio on January 18, 1939 to the late James Zell Nared, Sr. and Cleo Sanders Nared. He was preceded in death by his two sisters, Bertie Elizabeth Akins, Patricia Captain, and one brother, Clarence Nared. Survivors are his wife, Shirley Ann Mack Nared; children, Jimmy (Reba) Nared, Anthony (Mary Ann) Nared, Tony Nared, Cleo Phillips, Tina Nared, Lisa Nared, Vonda (Lawrence) Marshall, Yolanda (Sean) Washington; four brothers, Richard (Terrie) Nared, Ronald (Anna) Nared, Phillip (Lori) Nared, Wayne (Belinda) Nared; two sisters, Mable McCombs, and Frances Nared; twenty-nine grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren, he raised four grandchildren, Sedrick, Davadrion, Zakeya, and Starlette; sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law; aunts, uncles; nieces, nephews, cousins; special friends, Joseph Gaines, James and Myra Faye Murray, other relatives, and friends. Funeral Service will be Sunday, February 21, 2016 at 2:30 P. M. at Mount Zion Baptist Church, 223 Dunwoody Road, LaFayette, Georgia, with Pastor Rheubin M. Taylor and other ministers officiating. His remains will lie in state at the church from 1:30 P. M. until 2:30 P. M. Interment, Naomi Cemetery.
