MR. GARY ALAN SUTTLE - Age 77, of Ringgold, Georgia passed away Friday, June 14, 2024 with his family at his bedside. He was born on June 10, 1947 to the late Joseph Perry Suttle, Sr. and Elzora Young Suttle. He was preceded by his seven brothers, Joseph Perry, III, James, Lewis, Danny, Edwin, Chester, and Alvin Suttle; two sisters, Mary Hinton, and Karen Suttle. Gary was married to the love of his life to Patricia Ann Woods Suttle. Gary served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict and was Honorably Discharged. He retired from the U. S. Postal Service after twenty-eight years, and was a faithful member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in LaFayette, Georgia.
Survivors are his loving and devoted wife of fifty-seven years, Patricia Ann Woods Suttle of Ringgold, Georgia; sister, Charlotte White of LaFayette, Georgia; sisters-in-law, Mary Rowland of Chattanooga, Tennessee, Mary Suttle of LaFayette, Georgia, and Marion Suttle of Atlanta, Georgia; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, friends, and his church family.
Homegoing Celebration will be held on Thursday, June 20, 2024 at 1:00 P. M. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 289 Dunwoody Road, LaFayette, Georgia 30728 with Pastor Rheubin M. Taylor as Eulogist. The family will receive friends at the church one hour before the service. Interment, LaFayette City Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Willis Funeral Home, Inc., Dalton, Georgia.
