SEÑOR ERNESTO SALDIVAR, SR. – AGE 82, - of Dalton, Georgia passed away Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at his residence. He was born October 31, 1932 in Brownsville, Texas to the late Francisco Saldivar and Maria Perez Saldivar and was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. He is survived by his loving wife of forty-eight years, Candelaria Amaro Saldivar; son, Ernesto Saldivar, Jr.; daughter, Magdalena “Maggie” Saldivar; grandchildren, Asucena Castro, Esteban Saldivar, Rafael Ernesto Saldivar, Rubie P. Saldivar, Patricia Castor, Diana C. Castro, Gabriela L. Saldivar, Elizabeth M. Saldivar, Savana Saldivar, Carmen D. Contreras, Gabriela Contreras, Randy Garcia, Roy Garcia, Victor Garcia, Amberly Southern, Kayla Southern, and Jacob Southern; great grandchildren, Juan Angel L. Vasquez, Aubrey Marie P. Saldivar, Rafael Saldivar, Jr., Cathline V. Saldivar, Rubie Marie P. Saldivar, Eric Anthony Saldivar, Kadence Dawkins, Kara Dawkins, Kasan, Dawkins, and Carly Southern; a host of brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Graveside Service will be held Saturday, February 7, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. at West Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday and Friday Evening from 5:00 until 8:30 P.M. Rosary Service was held Thursday Evening at 6:00 P.M. in the chapel.
