Obituary For Cynthia Kaye Cleveland Simpson

MRS. CYNTHIA KAYE CLEVELAND SIMPSON – Age 72, of Milledgeville, Georgia and formerly of Dalton, Georgia passed away on Thursday, June 8, 2023. She was born on March 19, 1951 to her late parents Early Cleveland and Betty Lee Taylor Cleveland. She obtained an Early Education Degree from Dalton Junior College. She was a Dietician Supervisor at Central State Hospital. She was a member of Bridging the Gap Ministries, Dalton, GA and attended Tabernacle of Praise, Milledgeville, GA. She enjoyed fishing, crocheting, and listening to music. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vincent Terrance Simpson, Sr., son, Scotty Tyrone Fain, brother, Gary Tyrone Cleveland, cousin /sister, Betty Ann Brown, and niece, Shanika Cleveland.

She is survived by her loving son, Vincent Terrance (Kimberly Dennis) Simpson, Jr.; grandchildren, Vincent Terrance Simpson, III, Zavier Tyrone Simpson, Brandon Nicholas Simpson, Tylor Carel Simpson, Keontaé Farrar, Sariah Richards, and Akeyla Richards; great grandchildren, Aunaka Rose Simpson and Kaycee Farrar; God-daughters, Shamira Holsey and Renzella Dennis, cousin/sister, Donna Renee Rogers; aunt, Vera Matthews; brothers-in-law, Chris (Deidre) Simpson, Anthony (Ruby) Simpson, Rev. Timothy (Angela) Simpson, Princell Simpson; sisters-in-law, Antoinette (Ron) Rhodes ,Betty Washington, and Therease Simpson; devoted cousins; Vanessa Bishop and Celethia Morris; special friend, Stacey Kilgore; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral Service will be Friday, June 16, 2023 at 2:00 P. M. at the Willis Funeral Home Chapel with Bishop William C. Simpson, III, Eulogist and Rev. Rodney Weaver, Presider. The family will receive friends on Friday at 1:00 P. M. at the funeral home. Interment, West Hill Cemetery. Arrangements by Willis Funeral Home, Inc., Dalton, Georgia.
