On behalf of the Mt. Zion Nurses Ministry we extend to the family our heartfelt condolences. Brenda was our comrade and our friend. She was always supportive and had a willing spirit. On the Sundays that she was assigned to be nurse, she would show up with a servant's heart. Brenda was faithful and took on the role as one of the church nurses seriously. We are grateful for her services and considered it a privilege for her to be a part of the ministry. Some people leave sweet aromas with their presence and footprints on your hearts and Brenda was one of those people. We shall truly miss Brenda. Respectfully Mt. Zion Nurses Ministry

Almost Lost for words at this time, hard to believe Brenda has left us. Met her when I was only 18 my first job at HUTCHESON Medical Center. She and I became friends from then on. Always had a sweet spirit and truly loved her family , especially her nieces and nephews. Rest well Brenda. Love Darlene
Brenda was a special lady to me. I met her over 15 years ago when I joined Mt. Zion. I found Brenda to be cheerful and friendly. As the years passed, I later found her to be an encourager. When I was in the role of President of the Nurses' Ministry, Brenda was always supportive and she was willing to do what she could. I was grateful that Brenda served as a member of the Mt. Zion Nurses Ministry. I will miss seeing her kind smile and her gentle demeanor. However, lately, I could see Brenda slowing down, but she never let on that she was not feeling well. Whenever, I would inquire as to how she was doing, her reply would be, "I feel ok". Brenda was a warrior and I admired her fight. Her battle is over. I bid my friend adieu. Love, Deanna Baker
