Ma ~I really don't know what words that could describe what you mean to me and how you taking your rest hurts, but said you were tired and I'm at peace with you taking your rest. I will always respect you and hold you in warm place in my heart. They say people come into your life for a reason and a purpose. Some people are roots, some are limbs, some are branches, some are leaves, and some are just birds. In my life you quickly became and still are a root. When my granny took her rest, you were there for comfort and support. You stepped in and was that matriarch figure I needed. We have laughed, joked, cried, held life changing conversations, and celebrated great moments. You treated me and loved me like family and I am forever grateful.
