Dearest Redmond Family,
I know that you loss your Husband and Father. We thank you for sharing this Giant in the Host of Angel Warriors. Thanks be to God Almighty for this Christ Ambassador who loved us all the more each day. Our James-Miller Family will be indebted continuous for our Papa of Wisdom to each of my children, even my grandchildren remembering how caring Mrs. Redmond and your Father were so kind each summer that they visited, Marlon, Jr., Cemere', Layla, and Elijah. They loved Vacation Bible School and Summer Camp and the trips with Mrs. Green. He married Eugene and Miriam on February 14, 2004 with all the joy he amused us with. Pamela was my maid of honor. Now he is with My Danjuma trying to guide us in the right direction. We are doing the challenge that April asked us. I am calling a member of New Calvary everyday to check up on them. I took communion to Maxine and Naressa on yesterday. Yes we can love as our Pastor loved us all. All our love, The Millers, Jameses, Wontens, Pettys, Bordens, Teviks, Woods and Thompsons, and Dorseys Families submitted by Mrs. Miriam Arlala Johnson James-Miller

Although it has been many years since we last saw Rev. Redmond, he made such an indelible impression on my life. In memory of my outstanding pastor. Pastor Redmond I owe you so much sir. The wisdom, the support the listening ear that you gave me. Help to mold and shape not only my life but the second half of my ministry. Sir when others shunned me you embraced me and encouraged me. Not to give up but to hold on and hold out. When the strains and struggles of life commence to derail you from your destiny. You taught me how to continue to trust GOD, stay in the fight and keep the faith. Teaching me that the race is not given to the strong nor to the swift but to those who can hold on to the end. Not only did you open up your church to me but my dear pastor you opened your heart. There is so much that I could say about my pastor, the man the preacher , the teacher, the prophet , the legend. I won't say good bye sir, but see you after while my dear pastor. You were my Paul and I was one of your many young Timothies. From Pastor D. Laster and the Greater Love Temple family.
The Reverend P.L. Redmond was a giant of a man. His size was unmeasurable compared to his heart of service for the people of God. I shall always hold a special place in my memory for this man of God. He championed theological education and led New Calvary to be one of the founding Churches to institute the Certificate Program through New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary here in Atlanta. Words can never express the warmth and friendship I shall always have for Pastor Pozie. In loving memory Rev Dr Robert E Wilson & Sister Alice Wilson
