Kent was my closest friend in elementary school! Keely and I were in the same class, with Kent a year ahead of us. Even though Kent was only one grade older, he was like my big brother! He taught me how to play football and baseball. He picked me for his teams, even though I wasn't very good. He protected me from bullies. He made me feel welcome, safe, and special!
