Our deepest sympathy to the Family, from Dr Elizabeth Nguyen @ North Atlanta Kidney Specialist.
I'm so sorry to hear of my Brother in Christ and Friend passing. Melvin and I were station together in Hinesville Ga, and in Germany. We went to the same Church and Praise God together. My heart is broken. I say to his wife, children and family, He LOVED THE LORD AND WAS A PRAYING MAN. You will be missed. Bruce and Almeda Gaddis, Alaska
Our deepest sympathies to Aunt Cilia, Granny, Aunt Anne, Ma and the entire family. I remember the 1st time I met uncle Melvin, it was before my husband and I got married. We visited Georgia and he welcomed me into his home as I was his own niece. Made me feel like family. Uncle Melvin always knew how to throw down in the kitchen. Uncle Melvin will truly be missed. Rest well Uncle Melvin
My condolences and love to the Adams Family. Barbara Mapp
ADAMS, as I later learned he was called! A TRUE man of god, whom Loved his family and furthermore adored Mrs. Oscilla. I'm so grateful I was able to experience a genuine relationship/mentorship. I was fortunate to meet many TSA officers who portrayed a great deal of respect for "Adams". Everyone there knew him & loved his energy. I could never go to Melvin with a problem, and he didn't have a solution. Always instilling the importance of forgiveness in people, and keeping my heart at peace. I can remember Melvin and Mrs. Oscilla opening their home to me for a few days, as I was new to the city and trying to adhere to the life! Even opening their home for a few family dinners but always, always very gracious souls. Melvin was constantly praying for my daughter (and my family). Always assuring me, things would work out for her. THANK YOU for EVERYTHING Melvin❤️ JOB WELL DONE! Love You Always, Rachelle, Paul, & Halo
My heart is broken. Melvin was more than a coworker, he was a true friend. He will be missed... My condolences to his family.

I remember the family-oriented, respectful, loving and godly Melvin. Melvin was the son of my great Uncle W.C. I used to be so excited when the family would say Melvin is coming home from Washington D.C. Back then he appeared huge to me but he would pick me up and I remember feeling safe. His energy screamed bravery. He was very observant of everyone. He could tell you small things about you that you assumed no person would notice. I know that energy never dies but Im gonna miss seeing him in the flesh. Our family has suffered a great loss. Until we meet again.. Love always, Shairo
The Finney Family will always love and remember such a fine respectful young man. Rest in peace Melvin.

I, Diane Smith send my deepest condolences to Melvin's wife, his mom, his sisters and his daughter. I worked with Melvin for years at TSA and I know he loved and adored them very much. That's one of the things I admired about Melvin. He would always tell me wonderful loving stories about each one of them. He adored them greatly. I not only felt so...sad for Melvin when I was told that he passed. I still cannot believe it, but I grieved also for his wife, mom, sisters and daughter. Melvin was a wonderful friend, co-worker and a great man. I felt lost when he retired, because I would miss him so...much. I believe that if a man can continue looking over the woman in his family from heaven, that man would be Melvin. Melvin, now take your rest in heaven in the wonderful peace of GOD's loving presence.
My deepest sympathy condolences to the family.
Sending my condolences to y'all
To the Adams family and friends...I know there are no words that I can say to relieve the sting of death. Melvin and I were friends outside of work and he was greatly missed when he retired. But death leaves an emptiness that no one can heal. A source of relief, is that love leaves memories no one can steal. Let's enjoy those memories as we pray that Jehovah will remember him too.- John 5:28, 29 2 Cor. 1:4
With deepest heart felt condolences to the family. Praying God's love, strength and comfort with each of you.
Sandra James-Jordan
My condolences and prayers to your family! Working with you was always a pleasure. You made some of my bad BDO days some of my best days!!! Rest well friend. Tiara
Our heart and Prayers go out to Mrs. Adams and the family and friends of Mr. Adams. Just last year we brought the House next-door to Mr. and Mrs. Adams. I was hopeful that we would have neighbors like I had growing up. The kind that introduced themselves and made you feel welcome to the neighborhood. We got just that plus more. In the short amount of time that we had with Mr. Adams it caused us to look forward to spending more time and getting to know him and the Mrs. Even though that time has been cut short we are thankful for the time that we did have. I also find comfort in the fact that he was in the right relationship with God. I pray peace and comfort upon his wife, family and friends. May GOD bless you all❤️ Sincerely, Santiago and LaDonna
Melvin and I both worked at TSA. He was a great colleague with high integrity. He provided a professional and calming environment to all. I can't forget the best barbecued ribs he would make for our work celebrations. Hold on to those beautiful memories. God bless Melvin and his family. Madeleine McMahon
Melvin was a sweet man. My late husband and him were friends through work and we would often take him home as we worked and lived near each other. We would even run into each other at Kroger even after he left TSA. Melvin was a kind man and he always talked dearly about his wife and family. May God rest his soul and comfort his wife and loved ones. He is resting now in the arms of the Lord. Rita Lynch
Adams, was such a Gentleman and Loving Man of God, I have no doubt that he's with all the other Saints God has called home recently. The relationship you both possessed was beautiful and an inspiration to me and my family. We will always remember how happy he was on the visit you both made at our home in the driveway, sharing Jayce's leftover birthday cake. Adams was like a kid in a candy store that day, and the lovely Birthday card he left will always be cherished by Jayce, Love you sis, and hold on to God's loving hand, Waymon
To my baby sister Cet, you know the love that I have for you so it brought me great joy to see you happily married to Adams. I appreciated how he treated you as a wife and I had much respect for the love he had for our parents. He affectionately called pop mr Fitz and mom grandma Doris. Both of them loved Adams and were always glad to be in his company. The last time Gail and I visited your home we had a good meal, lots of laughter and good conversations. I remember Adams saying that he didn't have a beef with nobody and that his heart and mind was at peace. He was a nice guy and I never heard anyone ever say that they disliked him. He will be missed but always remembered. Your big brother Reginald "GuyGuy" Fitzpatrick
We offer heartfelt condolences to Melvin's family. Our family has known Melvin all of his life with the Bonner and Adam's children growing up in the same neighborhood. We pray that the peace of God which surpasses all understanding will rest heavily in each heart and mind. Andrew,Lillie Mae,Melissa Bonner & Family
LaCette, I have only known you and Melvin for such a short time although it seems like a lifetime. I remember the day he prayed for me and my daughter. He was a true soldier for the Lord. I know he is celebrating with Jesus right now. You sacrificed a lot even during your painful days and nights. We will see Melvin again on the other side. I am here for you today, tomorrow and always. My Deepest Condolences, your friend, your sister, Councilwoman Dr. LaShun Burr Danley
LaCette, we have known each other for only a short time. However, I feel like we have been sisters for a long time. I can remember when Mr. Adams prayed for me and my daughter on the walking track. He was a true man of God and I know he is celebrating with our Lord. We are praying for you daily. We are here for you today, tomorrow and always. Love you! Councilwoman Dr. LaShun Burr Danley

To the family,
Melvin was more than a co worker, more than a Union Steward. He was a friend a fighter and a all around good man. We have missed his cakes and cooking since he left us but we've missed him more. You all are in our hearts during this time and Melvin is forever with us.
God Bless AFGE Local 554
