It's been a year or more since Courtney's passing; however, I just recently found out. And I am devastated! Harrell, as I knew him was a very funny and devoted guy! I've known him for over 24 years and cherished our friendship. I will definitely miss his crazy humor and his great, in depth conversations about life! He'd always say to me "Applebees, you alright?!" I will surely miss that! Rest on Courtney!!!
You will always have a special place in my heart
My deepest sympathies to Courtney's family. He was my lawn care guy for many years, and we spent many hours talking in my driveway about motorbikes, vacations, home defense, you name it. I am missing his warm smile and his good-natured attitude!
To the family and loved ones of Courtney and the Dekalb County Sherriff's Office, I am so very sorry for your loss. Courtney and I began our careers in law enforcement together in Spring of 1991 at Georgia State University Police. He was a very proud and outspoken young man, and I was so happy that he had a successful career with the Dekalb Sheriff's Office. I will miss him and am saddened to hear of his passing. Carl Glisson
