To the Dunham Family: We take this time to express our personal condolences to the family of Mary Dunham. Our deepest thoughts and prayers go out to the entire family, and friends of the family during this hour of great sadness. To all grieving hearts, we direct your attention to this wonderful promise that God has made known to all who are heavy at heart due to the death of a loved one or friend. That promise is recorded at John 5:28-29. I am sure that Mary had seen this text before. In this text, God has informed us that He would soon cause a calling to go forth to those in the grave to stand up in life again. Yes, what a wonderful promise it is for all to read and to hear about this future blessing that God will extend to His earthly family. This arrangement will be possible because God is the source of life for all living things. (Psalm 36:9) Yes, even if a person dies, God has the desire and the power to make that person whole again. And to help all to develop strong faith in this future blessing, God has preserved nine accounts in the Bible that speaks about the grand resurrection blessing soon to take place earth wide. Here is just one such examples that is recorded a t Acts 9:36-42. I hope that all will get a chance to see how these verses apply to Mary, and a great host of others who await their personal awakening from the deep sleep of death. So, in closing we encourage all to please keep this promise of God near your hearts at all times. Remember that when God makes a promise, it becomes reality. For it is impossible for God to lie. (Titus 1:2)
