To the family, it was such a blessing in knowing sister Carolyn Yancey. I first met sister Yancey at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church where we both were members. She was a very warm spirited sister. Keep her memories close and dear to your heart. It will help ease the pain and bring you joy. I will continue to keep the family in prayer for strength and comfort that only the Holy Spirit can give. I, you and this is part of my complimentary close. Love and miss you. Bob Evans classmate 1954.
Carolyn was an honor student throughout her elementary and high school career. She had a pleasing personality that could be blended to fit into any group. Academically, she stood out as she participated in all academic, choral plays. She was a member of the well-known Jenkins Family who contributed much to the City of Dublin, Georgia. She will sorely be missed and I personally will miss her beautiful smile, kindness to others at all times attitude. She was a fighter and good example for other mothers to follow. She has earned her wings and now resides in the Kingdom of the Heavenly Father. Carolyn, I love and miss you.
To Lisa and Wanda
Aunt Carolyn was a Blessing to our Family and she will be surely be missed.
She Loved Family..Family was so important to her. Whenever I visited her I always felt so Welcome because she was a "Wonderful Hostess" always asking you "do you want something to eat/drink". She Loved to cook for her family and friends and she was a Great cook and baker. I Loved those Pound Cakes!
Being around her made me feel like being around my Grandmother again because she had the same "Sweet Spirit " and just like my Grandmother she Loved her family so much too!
May the Wonderful Memories of your Mother and how she Loved never be Forgotten!
May the Lord continue to Comfort, Guide and Protect her children in their time of sorrow for she will surely be missed.
Love Neicy
