Obituary For Sheron Jane Fain

Sheron Jane (French) Fain, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, 77, passed away with her daughters by her side on Friday, January 20th, 2023 in Decatur, TX.

Funeral services will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 25th, at the White Family Funeral Home in Bowie.

Burial will follow at Smyrna Cemetery in Sunset, TX.

Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, January 24th, at the White Family Funeral Home in Bowie.

Sheron was born June 2, 1945 in Knox City, TX. She married Robert Wayne “Cowboy” Fain on July 22, 1962 in Sunset, TX. They made their home and raised their two daughters after living in Chico, TX for a few years. Sheron held several jobs throughout her life, but was mainly a housewife and mother in her younger years.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Cowboy Fain, sisters Roberta and Eunice, and her twin brother Theron.

Sheron is survived by her daughters, Kathy Ezzell and Christie Newberry and husband Richard; grandchildren Winston Ezzell, Rachel Beecham, Chanae Sanchez, Amanda Hammond, and Chris Newberry; and 9 great-grandchildren.
