Sorry to learn of Norman's passing. He was a distant cousin, with whom I was able to share genealogy, and sharing pictures. Each year I would send him unlabeled pictures, many of which he was able to identify. I still have stacks of pictures I never had time to send. My condolences to the family.
My condolences to the Beyer family. Norm taught 7th grade at Immanuel Lutheran School in Dundee, IL and all of my family had him as a teacher. He was a great personality, and I was blessed to have Norm as a teacher, mentor, and coach from 1962 to 1964. He knew the old 1941 Lutheran Hymnal by heart, and read from it every day at the start of class. I enjoyed riding in his VW Beetle and playing golf with him. I am so sorry to learn of his passing. Robert Schumacher, Haiku, HI.
My condolences to the family. Howard Schock
I have great memories of Mr. Beyer - as my 7th grade teacher also and of their family as friends. I remember social studies and the report we had to do on a country. My deepest sympathy to all the family and a special hi to Andy. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
Our condolences to the Beyer family. We taught with Norm at St. John's, Montello, CA, where he was also our computer expert. After that he was a faithful email friend. Bob and Shirley Heckman
My deepest sympathy to family and friends of Mr. Beyer. I graduated from Immanuel in 1968. He was my 7th grade teacher and lived across the street from the school. He was really dedicated to doing a great job with us! God Bless. Pam Perrine (Ross)
