Jason Lynn “Froggy” Dawson,45 of Bowie, TX, went home to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, February 11th,2025, surrounded by his family.
A visitation will take place at the White Family Funeral Home on Monday, February 17th, from 6-8pm.
Funeral services will be at First Freewill Baptist Church on Tuesday, February 18th, at 11 am, with Brother Chuck Smith officiating.
Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Bowie, TX.
Jason was born on March 29,1979 to Kay and Alex “Butch” Dawson in Andrews, Texas.
Jason had a handful of friends that were always just a call away, friends that he called brothers- they have the honor of carrying Jason to his final resting place as his pallbearers.
Jason was such a “ham”, he was always making us laugh. He will be missed by many who loved him, but, as Jason would always say, “It’s not goodbye, it’s, I’ll see ya when I see ya!”
He was preceded in death by his parents, Kay and Alex Dawson; grandparents, Hollis and Dorothy Franklin; aunt, Mary Ann Mullens; cousins, Kevin Wood, Judy Mullens Gilbert and Bryan Smith
Jason is survived by his fiancé, Alice Richardson, who he loved with all of his heart; Brother: Monty Dawson and wife Julie; Nephews: Travis Dawson and wife Rachael, Jeremiah Cobbs and wife Hannah; Niece: Kaitlyn Dawson and fiancé’ Jasmine; Great-Nephew: Oliver Dawson; and his God-Daughter Piper Ward
