I've had the honor of knowing Mr. Jones for 61 years, first meeting him when my mother worked at his law firm. My little brother and I helped him move his massive law library into his new office suite. Those books are big and heavy. We were so impressed that he had a "library" in his office. Mr. Jones provided accolades at every Cub Scout Pine Car Derby. He helped us at our square dances. He supported Rainbow Girls and many other youth groups. He gave Sage advice when I went to college, and later married. He was quick to greet me when he saw me at Walmart. He & his wife were always so welcoming when I visited their church. I will remember his graciousness and wisdom. I pray for comfort as one widow to another to Mrs. Jones, who emulates that same graciousness he offered. To his children and siblings, I pray God's peace to dwell in your heart. Few could've been a better father, brother, friend and husband than he. May God continue to richly bless you with comfort as you grieve this deep loss. God does sustain us through our trials. He is resting in peace, this good and faithful servant. Mary Prater Smith
