Obituary For Corey Cameron Brooks

Corey Cameron Brooks, 28 of Alvord, TX, passed away Thursday, February 25th, 2021.

Funeral services will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 5th, at the White Family Funeral Home in Bowie, TX, Jason Reaves officiating.

Corey was born September 16, 1992 in Nocona, TX to Monte and Christine (Dean) Brooks. He worked in the oilfield as pipeliner. Corey loved to ride dirt bikes, motorcycles, really anything that he could drive fast, and he enjoyed bull riding. He was a friend to all who knew him, and loved making people happy any chance he could. Corey will be remembered as a loving father and devoted friend.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents Bill and Connie Barnes, his biological father Timothy Allen, and his aunt Catherine Chadwell.

Corey is survived by his son Cameron Cole Brooks of Illinois; dear friends Rusti and Dale Sikes of Illinois; parents Monte Brooks of Alvord and Christine Brooks of Bowie; siblings Sharle Brooks of Fort Worth, Lacey Barker of Bowie, Cody Barker of Bowie, Brittney Barker of Bowie, and T.J. Allen and Family of Joshua; uncle Benny Brooks of Bowie; aunt Linda Brooks-Hart of Fort Worth, TX; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members and friends.
