Obituary For Amy Michelle Pearson-Hamilton

Amy Michelle Pearson- Hamilton, 48, stepped into Heaven to meet her loving Jesus, on Friday, October 28th, 2022 in Bowie, TX. She was surrounded by Mommy, Daddy, and her loving family.

A memorial service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 12th, at the Old Country Church, 316 Pecan St. Bowie, TX 76230.

Amy was born October 11, 1974 to Carl and Debi Pearson in Irving, TX. She was 1 of 3 children. Amy loved her family so much and was a joy to all who knew and loved her. Her laugh was contagious and such a blessing to her family and friends.

Amy loved attending church, greeting people with her friendly smile, and worshiping her Jesus. If you asked her, “Where's Jesus?”, she would point to her heart and smile. She knew He lived in her heart and knew He deeply loved her. On Earth, Amy didn't speak a word, but loved ones believed once she got to Heaven, she would talk like the rest of us. But Amy's language was LOVE. For a girl, who never spoke a word, she sure had a lot to say. Amy loved kids, and kids were drawn to her. She was so special to so many people, particularly her Mommy. Unlike most kids do, Amy never left her home. She was her Mommy's pride and joy for her 48 years on this Earth.

On June 22, 2019, Amy became a Hamilton, when her Mommy married David Hamilton. Amy adored her new Daddy, and David took such amazing care of Amy. The smile on Amy's face anytime she was around David was such a blessing to everyone who knew Debi and Amy. Amy gained 3 more brothers as she joined the Hamilton family.

She is preceded in death by her dad, Carl Pearson; sister, Rebecka Barnett, grandparents, Joyce and Irvin Pearson, Bill Jessup, and Pat Argo; aunt Marsha Argo; and cousin Billy Farrell.

Amy is survived by her Mommy and Daddy, Debi and David Hamilton; brother, Scott Pearson; bonus brothers, Luke, Jake, and Matt Hamilton; bonus grandparents Peggy Hamilton and Barbara and Sammy Brieden; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and other loved ones.
