I believe this is the Mrs. Tillman who was my teacher in the fourth grade at Gracewood Elementary. If this is, she had a way of reaching out and touching every student; strong and commanding but soft and gentle showing her love toward her students. If this is she, our class was allowed to sing at her wedding (1973?). She could see the student's potential and she capitalized on out strengths and nutured our shortcomings. Your mother/grandmother was beautiful inside and out! Nadine Wood Norton
Praying for Mrs. Duncan's family as they mourn her loss. She was my teacher at Westside and a force to be reckoned with, nobody could touch the strength she brought to the classroom! All my love!💜
My heartfelt condolences to the Duncan Family. Singing with Mrs. Duncan, in the Augusta Chorale, was my absolute honor! RIP
