Willie Earl White aka “Wolfe” known by many far and wide, after a lengthy illness, departed this life Saturday, morning August 15, 2020 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, MS.
Wolfe was born December 22, 1953 to the late Wesley White, Sr. and Gwendolyn Augustine Daniels in Jackson, Mississippi. He was a member of Rising Sun Missionary Baptist Church, Pastored by Dr. James C. Shoulders.
Wolfe attended Lanier High School in Jackson, Mississippi. He worked for Tri-State Brickyard before landing a job at Packard Electric General Motors Company, which he left in 1982. He then worked various other jobs such as a painter, a groundman for the Pearl Mississippi Fire Department, a wonderful granddaddy sitter and basically was a jack of all trades.
Wolfe was preceded in death by his parents, his 2nd wife Joyce U’Dell Kennedy White, and his older sister Erma Hilliard.
He leaves behind to mourn and cherish his memories his 1st wife Patricia Ann White of Houston, Texas and from this union three successful daughters Stephanie White Redmond (Lawyer/ Stock Options Trader) of Atlanta, Georgia, Stacey Raquel White (SWA Mgr./Flight Attendant) of Vancouver, Washington, Erica Patrice White (Nurse Practitioner) of Houston, Texas; Sheree Funchess of Jackson, Mississippi; Skylar and Terrence White of Jackson, Mississippi; one sister Beverly Lenora White of Jackson, Mississippi; three brothers, Wesley White, Jr of Jackson, Mississippi; Henry White, Sr. of Atlanta, Georgia; Ben White of Huntsville, Alabama; grandchildren, Ashley White and Ashton White both of Jackson, Mississippi; Ayaii Houston (USAF) of Grand Forks, ND; Atahj Houston of Vancouver, WA; Spencer and Sydney Redmond of Atlanta, Georgia; Marion Lewis of Houston, Texas, Great grandchildren, Mehki, Liam, Swayzie of Jackson, Mississippi and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
