Mrs. Peggy LeMans Thomas Johnson, 56, was born on August 22, 1967 to Willie L. Thomas & Peggye Thompson in Jackson, MS. Mrs. Peggy Johnson passed away on March 9, 2024 in Gluckstadt, MS.
Public visitation will be held on Friday March 15, 2024, 12:00 noon - 7:00 p.m., Westhaven Funeral Home Chapel, 3580 Robinson Rd. Jackson, MS 39209.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday March 16, 2024, 11:00 a.m., New Hope Baptist Church, 1561 E. Beasley Rd. Jackson, MS 39206. Burial will be held in Natchez Trace Cemetery, Highway 51, Madison, MS 39110.
A repast in memory of Peggy LeMans Thomas Johnson will be held following the burial at: Pilgrim Rest M.B. Church Fellowship Hall, 239 Crawford St. Madison, MS 39110

To the Thomas and Johnson family. I met Peggy at the nail shop one Saturday and it was as if we had known each other for a life time. Both of her parents impacted my life during my junior high and high school days. In our short time at the nail shop we talked about her dreams and aspirations and I see that she accomplished most of her goals because of the impact she had made on many she had come in contact with (especially the students). I am sure there are no words that I can give to ease the pain that you may be enduring at this time. I can only tell you to keep your mind stayed on the Lord. The Lord will be your present help and strength during this time. For weeping may endure for a night but joy cometh in the morning. I am not sure when the morning will come but just know that God will see you through.
