Mr. Wilkerson would come to the baseball games sometimes and he recognized his former students, after many years. He had such a great memory. I was blessed to be one of the people whose life was affected positively when I was hired to work at Raymond High School in 1997 as an Air Force Jr. ROTC instructor. He always had a ready smile, easy manner, and words of encouragement. I know he will be missed but his legacy will live on. My love I send to the family during this trying time.
