Chiquita Johnson, 43, of Gadsden, AL passed away on June 2, 2023. We ask that you keep this family in your hearts and prayers.
Chiquita Renee Croft Johnson was born on November 30, 1979 to the late Adrian Austin and Ricky Lee Croft, in Gadsden, AL.
Chiquita heard the Master’s call on June 2, 2023 and she peacefully answered.
She confessed Christ at an early age and united with the Galilee Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Dr, Grady E. Robinson Sr.
Chiquita loved to make people laugh, crack jokes, listen to music, and she loved to cook and clean and rearrange things. She had a heart of gold that loved to take care of other people in whatever way needed. She was just an all around silly woman.
She worked at numerous Nursing Homes in the area and she was also a lead person Keystone.
She is preceded in death by: Her mother, Adrian Austin; Brother, Gregory Taylor; her kids father, Timmothy Wheeler; Grandmothers, Ethel Croft and Katherine Taylor.
She leaves to cherish her beautiful memories to: She was blessed to have two fathers Rick Lee Croft and Hugh Mostella. Her daughters, Junquita Mostella, Janene Wheeler, Timmesha Wheeler, Tiyane Wheeler, Jaquela Johnson; Numerous grandchildren; Sisters, Crystal Croft, and Sabrina Davis; Brothers, Anthony Taylor, Justin Blackburn and Michael Carter: God-sisters, Gloria Mostella and Kathy Mostella; Aunts, Dinnie (Joel) Glass, Jennifer Wynn, Johnymae Suttles, Judy Aaron, and Bernadette Smith ; Uncle, Charles Taylor; In-law, Cameron Mostella and a host of other relatives and friends.

I remember before we found out we was cousins we was so cool but when we found out we was family it was nothing but love God put you in my life for a reason because you understood me God put you on my life for a reason because you know I didn't have nobody that really would ride for me like I would ride for them I'm going to miss us at 3:00 in the morning eating neck bones and potatoes and cornbread talking crying together sharing things together you might have cursed me out sometimes but you'll call me right back and apologize and tell me you love me we didn't have so many memories together we didn't share a lot of things together and everything that we did I know you taking it to the grave and I'm going to take him with me too the special things the fun things and everything that you showed me I'm going to keep it with me for the rest of my life until God called me home and we reconnect again you surely will be missed man a real Eastside legend gone but never forgotten the love that you gave me is going to stay with my heart love always your big look cousin big blount
