Mrs. Mellonese "Mel" Densmore passed away on Monday, May 24, 2021 at Riverview Regional Medical Center.

Obituary

Mellonese Jenkins Densmore was born on December 3, 1952 to the late Barbara Malone Ritchey and Willie C. Jenkins II.

She departed her earthly home to enter her eternal/heavenly home, May 24, 2021.

Mellonese became a member of Bethlehem Temple Church at a young age and later moved her membership to Rising Star AOH Church in Gadsden Alabama.

Mellonese attended Mary T. Banks Elementary and Main Junior High, later moving to Gadsden Alabama to finish school and attended Job Corp.

Mellonese was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara L. Ritchey and father, Willie C. Jenkins II; two siblings, Rosalyn Turner and Willie C. Jenkins III; also both grandmothers and grandfathers.

She leaves to cherish her memories: A loving husband, Larry O’Neal Densmore; three children, Larry (Quatecia) Densmore Jr., Marcella Densmore and Sharie Allen of New York; 11 grandchildren; Two sisters, Jacquelyn Jenkins of Rome, GA, and Amy (Stan) Madden, Illinois; One special friend, Marilyn Woods; one Aunt, Edith Cunningham of Michigan and a host of, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Homegoing Services will take place Friday, May 28,2021 at 1:00 pm at West Gadsden Funeral Home (Betty D. Robinson Chapel). Eulogist: Reverend Charles Kilpatrick Interment: Rainbow Memorial Garden

Public visitation will be Thursday, 12:00 noon- 5pm. Family Hour; 5pm-7pm
