Mrs. Angela Harrison, of Gadsden, passed away on Friday, April 26, 2024.She is survived by her loving family. We ask that you please keep this family in your prayers during their time of bereavement.
Angela D. Gadson Harrison was born on August 10, 1956, to the union of Nathaniel & Earlene Gadson in Gadsden, Alabama.
She confessed Christ at an early age. She was a member of Pentecostal Temple Church of God in Christ; Rev. David Alexander Sr. was her pastor. She was an active member until her death. She was a jack of all trades as she wore many hats. She was a great cook, and her specialties were Red Velvet Cake, Strawberry Tart, frying fish and Lasagna just to name a few. She had a heart for people.
Angela had one child, Anthony, who was born on April 13, 1970. She married Willie Guinn in 1980 and remained married until his death. She married Donald Harrison in 2013.
She is preceded in death by her parents Nathaniel & Earlene Gadson, aunts, uncles, nieces, and a great grandchild.
She leaves to cherish her memories: a devoted son, Anthony (Antionettia) Gadson; grandchildren V’Aires (Victoria) Davis, Xavier Covington, Saudeyah Croft, Jessie Griffin, Emery Gadson, Messifa Lavvy, and 5 Great Grandchildren; Siblings: Rev. Wilburt (Annette) Gadson, Willie (Lottie) Gadson, Len (Stephanie) Gadson, Alvin Gadson, and Veronica Gadson Coleman. Aunts: Eloise Jones and Elizabeth Wheeler; God Daughter Labretta Ward; Special Daughter Cassandra Davis; Special Nieces: Pooh, Nikkie, Duke; Special Friend Bertha Ward; Special Cousin Arthur Jones; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends.
Public Visitation will be held from 12noon-6pm on Friday, May 3, 2024.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, May 4, 2024 at 12noon at Pentecostal Temple Church of God in Christ.
