Mr. Phillip Williams, 76, of Gadsden, passed away on Saturday, October 28, 2023. He is survived by his family. We ask that you keep this family in your hearts and prayers during their time of bereavement.
Mr. Phillip Williams was born in Alabama on June 11, 1947, to Julia and Charles Williams. He departed this life on October 28, 2023. He attended Carver High School here in Gadsden. Phillip was an L.A. Lakers fan, and he also was an Alabama football fan. His favorite past time was watching sports and spending time with his children, grandchildren, and other family members. He loved his dog/son Cesar, and he was most proud of his children and grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents Julia and Charles Williams; daughter Julia L. Williams; two brothers John Albert Williams and James Williams; and one sister Charlotte Julie Oliver.
He leaves to cherish his memories: Daughters, Felicia Moon of Atlanta, GA., Phyllis Williams of Atlanta, GA., Erica Jones of Gadsden, AL; sons Morlon Jones and Maleik Parker both of Gadsden, AL.; sisters Alice Williams and Mary Davis both of Gadsden, AL., Josie (James) Thornton, Angela Acklin Hogg, all of Gadsden, AL., and Charlene (Elbert) Peterson of Los Angeles, CA.; 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at Crestwood Cemetery at 12 noon.
