Obituary For Mr. LaShundon Daralle Patrick

Mr. LaShundon D. Patrick, 41, of Gadsden, AL, passed away on Sunday, November 10, 2024.

Mr. LaShundon Daralle Patrick was born on August 28, 1983 in Gadsden, AL to Evelyn “Burt” Patrick & Reico Malone.

He was a graduate of Emma Sansom High School in 2001.

He was employed with KTH for 12 years.

Shun was a loving father, husband, provider, son, brother, and friend to all that he met. He was the life of the party and did everything he could to make you feel welcome and a part of the family. He was also an avid Alabama Football fan and enjoyed chilling with his wife and children. He loved football, basketball and being a handy man.

He is preceded in death by: grandparents, Peggy & James Patrick; Uncle, John Cothran.

He leaves to cherish his beautiful memories to: His loving wife, Dedra Patrick; son, J’Shun Patrick, daughter, JaNiyia Patrick, his loving mother, Evelyn Patrick; father, Reico Malone; special da, James (Squeeler) Stephens; sisters, Lola and Jaime Wright; brothers, Reico (Elizabeth) Patrick, and Roderick Rudolph; special uncles, Sheldon Montgomery and James Patrick; mother-in-law, Rekiana Harvey; father-in-law, Larry Terrell; sister-in-laws, Nedra (Tavarus) Tuck, The’Andra (Ervin) Smith, Antonio (Makeila) McCants and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Shun had so many special family and friends, it is impossible to mention everyone by name. He played a role in so many lives.

Public viewing will be from 6pm-8pm on Thursday, November 14, 2024.

Funeral services will be at 12noon on Friday, November 15, 2024 at the New Liberty Tabernacle of Praise, Eulogist: Pastor Willie Simmons.

Was a great person in my eyes. When we was kids we never miss a weekend really without each other. It was me and him and his brother Tay. I so sorry for his family lost.
