His passion was cooking . . . not only in the restaurant business.
He also enjoyed cooking family meals at home and he loved to host holiday get togethers. He did not live a perfect life, there was anguish, sadness, and heartbreak; but he always knew he could go talk to his aunts Carol and Pam for advice. It may not have been the advice he wanted to hear, but he knew they were always willing to listen. Michael was a big teddy bear who loved his family with all his heart. He loved spending time with all his nieces and nephews, whether it be throwing them up in the air and catching them or hanging them on a hook by their shirts (inside joke). They all loved their Uncle Mike. He loved all kinds of music, but his favorite artist was Jellyroll (traintracks) and anything from Yelawolf.
